Songs 41 to 50, Sri Raghava Shatakam
Radhekrishna.
Sri Anna is an epic personality of our times and it is indeed our great fortune to be associated with him, even if remotely. All the Granthams that he has composed are an expression of pure divinity. While all these outpourings are his 'Samarpanams' at the sanctum of his beloved 'Lord Bhaktakolahalan', he has been extremely gracious in making them available to us for our benefit. We should therefore ensure that it's pristine divinity is maintained by us by ensuring that it is not reduced to mere casual listening / rendering. We should convert this into an opportunity to listen and render with bhakti which will gladden Sri Anna's heart.
Songs 41 to 50, Sri Raghava Shatakam
Jai Sriram.
In this set of songs, we start with a lilting 'Bhaagavata Sambhaashana' where two 'Rama Bhaktas' exchange their heartfelt experiences of 'Rama Gunas'. Then follows the trio's journey into the dense jungles before reaching 'Chitrakoota'. Their stay in 'Chitrakoota' is perhaps one of the finest descriptions blending the beauty of nature all around with the divine love of 'Sita Rama Yugalam' and Lakshmana's quiet 'Raasikya'. Sri Valmiki virtually transports us there in his 'Kaavya' and Sri Anna enchants us in a manner that we can see their divine sport in the screens of our minds. Let's soak ourselves in it as these are the sole memories that the couple hang on to while the 'Charitra' takes a bizzare turn very soon. Songs -
