Songs 51 to 60, Sri Raghava Shatakam

Radhekrishna.

Sri Anna is an epic personality of our times and it is indeed our great fortune to be associated with him, even if remotely. All the Granthams that he has composed are an expression of pure divinity. While all these outpourings are his 'Samarpanams' at the sanctum of his beloved 'Lord Bhaktakolahalan', he has been extremely gracious in making them available to us for our benefit. We should therefore ensure that it's pristine divinity is maintained by us by ensuring that it is not reduced to mere casual listening / rendering. We should convert this into an opportunity to listen and render with bhakti which will gladden Sri Anna's heart.

Jai Sriram.

After 'King Dasharatha', Sri Rama should have ascended the throne. But that was not to be. Even 'Kaikeyi's' attempt to enthrone 'Bharatha' failed. In the lineage of 'Ikshvaaku', after 'Dasharatha', it was the turn of 'Sri Raama Paaduka' to ascend the throne and rule for the next 14 years. Amazing !! Isn't it ? Nowhere in the world's history has this ever happened. Today's rendition ends with this unbelievable marvel. More marvelous is 'Bharata's' pure 'Raama Prema'. Nothing can stop that ferocious flow. Not even Sri Raama. He had his way. He got his 'Raamaa' albeit in the form of his 'Paadukaa'. His bhakti was such that he melted the hearts of every living being who encountered him and left them dumbfounded - This included Sri Rama himself. 51- Ha hanta ha hanta 52- Sriramameva deivatham 53- Drakshyami kada 54- Dhanyam tameva manyeham 55- Bagavathothamam bharatham 56- Mataram papacharinim drushtva 57-Veekshe kadaham Sriraguveeram 58- Pranamati raghunatham 59- Swamin sweekuru samrajyam 60- Palaya maam Sri Raghupathi paduke
