Songs 71 - 80, Sri Raghava Shatakam
Radhekrishna.
Sri Anna is an epic personality of our times and it is indeed our great fortune to be associated with him, even if remotely. All the Granthams that he has composed are an expression of pure divinity. While all these outpourings are his 'Samarpanams' at the sanctum of his beloved 'Lord Bhaktakolahalan', he has been extremely gracious in making them available to us for our benefit. We should therefore ensure that it's pristine divinity is maintained by us by ensuring that it is not reduced to mere casual listening / rendering. We should convert this into an opportunity to listen and render with bhakti which will gladden Sri Anna's heart.
Songs 71 - 80, Sri Raghava Shatakam
Jai Sitaram.
Who said greats do not grieve ? Rather they teach teach how well to grieve !!! We start the day today with an ode to Sri Rama and Sitadevi's pristine love. Who said greats do not face difficulties ? Even in the midst of difficulties their greatness remains undisturbed because while they themselves face a mountain of calamities they still remain as a pole star to wipe off someone else's travails. That is what Sri Rama did for Sri Sugreeva. For those who remain steadfast in 'Dharma', providence ushers in solace from unexpected quarters. That happens in the form of Sri Hanuman making an entry today. He strode into Sri Rama's life to stay with him for eternity. He gave Sri Rama the first darshan of Sitadevi in the form of her ornaments. In his search for her, Sri Hanuman did the unimaginable and unbelievable. We end the day today with Ravana getting slapped with his life's first dose of terror, packaged with some sane advise from this emissary of Sri Rama, leaving Ravana completely shattered and numb. What is the secret behind this Vaanaraa's magnificent and magnanimous acts ? Listen to the slokas of Song No's. 78, 79 and 80 and make them your secret too !!!
